I am 70. The Fifth Dimension was the first rock concert I ever went to. I think it was 1970. It was at Mac Court at the University of Oregon. Awesome.

63 year old and I remember well when this song first came out. I live in Iowa. The Age of Aquarius, in astrology, is either the current or forthcoming astrological age, depending on the method of calculation. Astrologers maintain that an astrological age is a product of the Earth's slow precessional rotation and lasts for 2,160 years, on average (one Great Year equals 25,920-year period of precession / 12 zodiac signs = 2,160 years) Later Marylin Mcoo and Billy Davis Jr from this group had some hits on their own.

so just what is an age. It is 12th of the about 26000 yr cycle of the sun. As to when the Age of Aquarius is to begin it is debatable for the date but we are in it. Now each age has a cusp of 1/4 of it. So an age is about 2100 so each cusp is about 500 yr. These are all round numbers. When still in the cusp the closer u are to the beginning the more the former age influences what is happening. So we are still in that cusp by at least 100 yr. This means the former age still has a great deal of influence on us. The age of Aquarius will not fully kick in for a good 400 more yr.

I remember Aquarius as a kid in south Texas. It is a meaningless mixture of hippy talk and astro-babble but that doesn't matter because it was beautifully done and a joy to listen to. The lyrics mean less now than they did then but the joyous music means even more.

Maggie, I would love to see you react to a wonderful artist called Mean Mary. She has been producing beautiful content for over 15 years and I think she is only about 45 years old. She has a very beautiful and unique voice.
